Today the spotlight falls on R&B singer Michael McQuaid.
McQuaid was previously featured here on Uncanny Pop back in October when he dropped his track “Vibes.”
The artist’s diverse list of influences that include everyone from the Beatles to Sam Cooke serves him well as he’s transitioned from pop/rock to R&B. His new EP titled Glasshouse is a great example. The six track EP mixes rock and the new alternative R&B sound and is the perfect soundtrack for lovers who are heartbroken. Triple Suplex, the Nashville songwriting team provide a moody mix of heavy 808s and whirling synths that combine and help tell the story of a lover faced with the many stages of a fragile love life.
