She just released her new single “Hot and Bothered” from her upcoming EP. You can listen to it here and watch her live performance of the track from back in April of this year:

Marked by heavy, dirty riffs, funky grooves and Jones’ booming vocals, it’s easy to see why so many see the potential in the singer.” –Pure Volume

Her EP is set to be released next year and was produced by Josh Moore (Max Frost). In addition Jones collaborated with fellow Austin native Gary Clark Jr. on his track “Wings” from his new album The Story of Sonny Boy Slim.

This Friday, Jones will be performance as part of Black Fret at the Paramount Theater in Austin. The charity’s mission is to empower musicians to create and perform great music.
Previously known as a reputable cover artist, Jones is now releasing original content. The Austin American Statesmen calls the artist “A rising star and well-known vocalist in the Austin community,” and Jones has recently received praise for her Austin City Limits performance and from Billboard Magazine who said that she “raised the roof” at her performance at the 2015 Austin Music Awards where she paid tribute to late musician Ian McLagan alongside legends Steven Van Zandt, Charlie Sexton, Alejandro Escovedo and Patty Griffin.
