New Music Monday: Nate Ruess, OSHUN, and more

Here are some new tunes to get through the first work day of the week.

First up artist Nate Ruess-lead singer of the band FUN-just released a new song off of his first upcoming solo album Grand Romantic. The album will be out June 16th and the titled of his song is “AhHa.” This is the second song he’s released, the first being ‘Nothing Without Love.” Ruess had this to say about “AhHa”:

It’s 3 or 4 songs rolled into one, and in my mind, the perfect opening track for the whole album (the same way “Some Nights” was written as the album opener). In fact, I always saw it as the evil twin of “Some Nights” when I first started writing it a few years ago. I’d say more- but I’d rather save it for the album and let the song get you ready for it.”

The song can be purchased at iTunes and Amazon. In addition to the festival shows  that he’s going to perform at, Ruess will also be going on tour in May/June, performing a bunch of intimate shows around the US and Europe.  The shows will be held in small venues, so special ticket sales will be run in London, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto.  Check out the dates below for when Ruess will be in your city:
